The Scots Guards have been as involved as any other regiment in the events of the last forty years. In describing the Regiment's role and participation Major General Naylor has sought to provide an account of events which records what happened and why in a way which will allow those who were there readily to identify with what took place, whilst giving those who were not present a snapshot of what life was all about.
